Pickleball FAQ's
Can Members Play Anytime?
To ensure everyone has a fair chance to enjoy the courts, court reservations are required for all members. We believe this system helps create a more organized and enjoyable experience for everyone. While you can’t drop in without a reservation, our booking system is designed to make scheduling a court quick and hassle-free!
What to Bring?
Here’s what we recommend you bring to enjoy your game:
Tennis shoes or other non-marking athletic shoes.
A water bottle to stay hydrated.
Your pickleball paddle (we have paddles available to borrow at the front desk if needed).
Comfortable, athletic clothing suitable for exercise.
Optional: Sunscreen and a towel for outdoor courts, and a light jacket if the weather is cooler.
How Many People Are Allowed on a Court?
Each court accommodates up to 4 players at a time for a standard doubles game, which is the most common format. If you’d like to play singles, that’s perfectly fine too! Our courts are flexible and suitable for both singles and doubles matches.
Rules for a Great Game
To keep games fun and safe for everyone, please follow these basic rules:
1. Reservation Time: Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your reserved time. Reservations are held for 10 minutes; after that, they may be released if no one shows up.
2. Court Etiquette: Be respectful of the court time and keep play within your booked slot. If you run over, be mindful of the next reservation.
3. Dress Code: Proper athletic attire is required. Shirts, non-marking shoes, and appropriate sportswear should be worn at all times.
4. Safety First: Always warm up before your game and use proper techniques to avoid injuries. If you’re unsure about something, feel free to ask a staff member for guidance.
5. Clean Up: Please remove any personal items and dispose of trash when you leave the court to keep the area clean for the next group.
6. Court Use: No food or drinks (other than water) are allowed on the courts.
We hope to see you out there enjoying our new pickleball courts soon. Whether you’re playing for fun or honing your skills, our courts are the perfect spot for fitness and community!
